Drawing inspiration from traditional gameday garments, this collection seeks to modernize classic looks. Typical gameday gear has begun to be viewed as standard and expected with many criticizing a lack of versatility both in look and functionality. Within "Classical Refinement" you can find pieces which offer school spirit for colder games, while remaining stylish out of the stadium
Market Research
Conducting interviews and surveys with the student body and finding out what brands and clothes they wear to gameday was the first step in the design process. I found that Peter Millar, Kappa, Nike, and Polo Ralph Lauren are all brands which produce what sports fans desire in gameday apparel. The fans also show a desire to have a presentable, “dressed up” appearance.

About me
I am dedicated to redefining gameday fashion with an emphasis on high-quality materials and timeless design. As an avid sports fan myself it is disheartening to see fanbases being presented with essentially the same team apparel year after year. Recognizing that these looks won’t being going out of style, it is my goal to transform those garments into something unique which can be worn to a variety of events and under various conditions while still keeping a presentable appearance.
